Founded by Norman C. Wheeler in 1958, the firm of Norman C. Wheeler & Associates has been providing rural valuation and real estate services throughout Montana and Wyoming for nearly 50 years. The firm has grown from a rural appraisal and mortgage business to an extensive valuation company which studies and provides important real estate valuation information on all types of rural land. While still the leader in rural property appraisals and valuations throughout the inter-mountain West, the firm also maintains extensive databases related to sale trends over the past fifty years. The company is often called upon to study various valuation problems and issues related to rural land. In addition to individual clients and private companies, the firm is often consulted by various federal and state agencies, as well as local, county governments, to understand valuation issues related to the changing landscapes of the west.
The company maintains offices in Bozeman and Missoula, Montana. Our professional staff includes a full time GIS mapping specialist. The primary appraisers within the firm are nationally designated individuals who bring a high level of integrity and confidence to the valuation of rural lands.
Over the years, various professionals have been associated with the firm. These include appraisal mentors, Mr. Robert Kellogg, and Mr. Richard Johnson, ARA, who helped guide the firm along with Mr. Norman Wheeler, into the mid 1980s. Since that time, the firm has been under the direction of N. Clark Wheeler, ARA, who, along with numerous other ARAs and appraisers, has moved the firm to the front of the valuation industry in the Western United States.Founded by Norman C. The Bozeman office, which is located at 421 W. Mendenhall is operated by N. Clark Wheeler, ARA, and the Missoula office which is located at 31 Fort Missoula RD, Suite 3, is headed by Mr. Paraic Neibergs, ARA. Mr. Wheeler is a licensed real estate broker in Montana, as well as a state general certified appraiser in both Montana and Wyoming. Mr. Neibergs is a state licensed real estate agent in Montana, and also a licensed general real estate appraiser in Montana and Idaho.
The Bozeman office is also staffed by Mr. Andrew Rahn, ARA. Mr. Rahn is a licensed real estate agent and general certified appraiser in Montana. The firm contracts and utilizes the various services of valuation experts throughout the region, including an extensive network of Accredited Rural Appraisers throughout Montana and Wyoming. The appraisers associated with the firm are supported by a professional staff and the firm, as noted, maintains extensive and valuable real estate databases.
